I am very honored to be a part of the American Artists Professional League (AAPL)'s 95th Anniversary Exhibition which will take place at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, NY from August 26 through October 1, 2023.
This is a special show as it celebrates the AAPL’s 95th anniversary and its first in-person exhibition at the historic Howland Cultural Center. The show will be on display on two floors of the center’s Northcutt Hall Gallery. All artwork will be for sale.
The non-profit Howland Cultural Center is the ‘Jewel of Beacon,’ a historic venue originally built in 1872 as a library by the architect Richard Morris Hunt. The center now serves as a vibrant hub for cultural events and activities, including art exhibitions, musical performances, and literary readings. The center’s mission is to promote and celebrate the arts, culture, and community of the Hudson Valley region. With its stunning Victorian architecture and rich background, the Howland Cultural Center is a beloved and important institution in the local community.
The Howland Cultural Center is in Beacon, about 60 miles north of New York City, and has gained a reputation as an artsy community, attracting artists, collectors, musicians, and visitors from all over the world. Beacon has numerous galleries, studios, and art events throughout the year.
I hope you have the opportunity to visit beautiful Beacon, NY and discover the exhibition at the Howland Cultural Center over the next couple of months!
